11:04 pm - A little update

Haven't updated this in a while.
just wanted to show a little sign of life and to do some writings.
first things first, we're less than a week away from the Silent Hill movie premiere! I'm so goddamn excited! It took a long ass time but we're finally here. Time sure flies doesnt it? when i was younger, weeks would go by ever so slowly but now theyre zipping by like race cars, i just hope this is not an accelerating phenomenon if you catch my drift ;)
Oh and last week i celebrated my 50th Ace-147 comic. Talk about a lot of work. I think i spend like 2 to 3 hours on average on a single strip so this comes to about 100-150 hours of work....yikes! imagine if i got paid for that i'd be frikkin rich eh? Well....it is valuable pratice for later i guess. Its always been a dream of mine to be a professionnal comic book artist.
why am i in multimedia? well, because thats another one of my passions and because i dont think i'm good enough to live off my art...for now. So its always good to have some kind of backup in case. But still, neither one of these fields are mutually exclusive you know? so i can do both at the same time :)
Also, my third year of college is almost over (1st year of multimedia, the other two were other programs i ended up not liking). Summer vacation is always a blast, i can't wait! me and my buddies rented a cabin for a week in the wilderness and its going to be awesome.
wow...this was longer than i expected but it should have put everyone up to par on whats happening in my life.
Alright i'm out, this is starting to be reeeallll long.

2:48 am - A postcard from the Holidays....
|
Hey hey, just dropping by to give my impressions on the holiday seasons so far.
Lets see.....I passed all my courses, got some neat stuff for the holidays and i get a month to do whatever the hell i want so everything is really great. Just yesterday i spent the day drawing and playing Texas Hold'em on the computer. I broke even and i did some nice stuff in my sketchbook. All is well.
I'm writing this for later reading because i get nostalgic when college starts back up again so i'll have this to read to remember the holiday break.
Its also a reminder to use this bundle of free time wisely because it passes really quickly if you dont watch out.
2 weeks left so i must not zone out!
Been also keeping a pretty good amount of comics on time too, Thats why i say ''Usually on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays'' on the site so if i am a day late i wont have to feel bad about it....it IS a hobby after all :)
Alright, I'm getting heavy eyed as i type this so i'm gonna hit ye ol' haystack.

Hey folks
been pretty busy these past few days, end of sessions at the college has always been something really tiresome with all the exams and final projects that need to be done really quickly. Add a teacher strike in the mix (like our student strikes last march weren't enough already) and you get something really fucked.
In retrospect, school has been set to end at december 28 because of the strike, the teachers having to work those extra days without pay to recoup the days they went on strike (again without pay) so they are really getting screwed so they said they will end it as soon as humanly possible so those extra days wont get used.
next week will be really shaky i'll tell you that, having to finish a stop motion short film by tuesday, a 1000 word essay by friday and countless exams (at least 4) by the end of the week.
will i make it? i'm sure
intact? i sure damn hope so!

Unfortunatly, Perjury was too dark of a comic for me to maintain it right now. once i get more skilled at displaying dark and gritty settings, i'll pick it back up as an updated comic. until then i may update it but i dont make any promises.

3:41 pm - Sheesh!! Week-end Ranting

I'm somewhat refreshed of those two 12 hour sleepinng binges i took (Firday to saturday and saturday to sunday) but hey, tomorows labor day so i'll prolly use the most out of that one too. College has been very tiring, and i can't even think what would happen if i had a job, or if that week was more loaded than just blabbering for 4 hours at a time (thank god for bathroom breaks).
I'm broke, my student loan arrived at school friday and i only realised it when the school was closed, so i'll have to buy all my shit on tuesday, wich means i'll only get the paper for my homework due wednesday on Tuesday, wuh oh, thats gonna be rough (also considering i finish school at 5 PM on tuesday.
This blows, really blows. I hate to be rushed, i like to finish homeworks and shit WAYYY before theyre really due because that way, its more rewarding and if i want to rework it, i can, because the deadline is so far away. Oh well, this blows....
I'll try getting some money from my friends so i can at least buy that paper for the homework so i could do it on monday instead, that would be nicer.
Oh well, time for some TV and maybe a good walk, that always works for me.

College, the nexus of the universe, or should i say, home to the bizarre and the boring.
Its been 3 days now since i started college, I havent had real heavy courses yet because the first class is the one they give you the hefty shopping list and they say ''go nuts''
I find college rather liberating, but, Its not in the good kind of way. I'm a weird guy, i like order, and since monday, its been chaos, I've either had to run all over the place or do NOTHING for extented periods of time in between classes, not enough time to go home, but just enough so you get bored stiff.
I'm going to run one nasty debt if i dont find some work soon (if my student loan gets approoved, if not, i'm afraid i'll have to ditch the course)
But, how the hell can i work with such a workload at college....hmmm...good question...i'll either have to cringe all the way trough, or give up.
Life is hard.

Finished the game a few days ago, All i can tel you is that SH3 honors the series. Its a worthy addition to my Silent Hill collection.
Wont tell you more other than RENT IT, its well worth it.

Well umm....i've been back since 1 PM but heck, i didint feel like writing anything. everything went smoothly, i didint have a choice with A.M or P.M, it was more like Day or night so i chose day ^^
Took my student card picture, ended up looking like a drugged up lunatic....
On my way back i took my bus card picture, wich turned out to be one fucking nice pic compared to my usual face in pictures ^^

1:42 am - A peek into a new chapter of my life....

Whoa....a year has gone by since i finished high school (like, woah).
I had some unsucessful attempts to get and keep a job, but its been mostly a blank year where i worked my art, goofed around, slept late, waking up late and goofing around some more....
Some of you may be thinking that i wasted this year, you are wrong. i wanted to take it easy while i was still young at least once. I didint want to do it when i was all old and wrinkely so i took a year off between high school and college.
College....yep....my course selection is tomorow....errr...i mean in a few hours....wich reminds me i have to sleep...i'll get to that but first i want to speak my mind on the subject
What awaits me in college life? i'm a little freaked by the unknown, but its a challenge i feel will trow me out of this "doing nothing!" thing i had going this year. I'm studying in Graphism hoping to become an accomplished artist and perhaps even take a few university courses in art to better hone my skills.....yep, i want to be an artist....
its been a rough ride in that matter, i hope i'm good enough for the graphism course...i hope i won't get lost in the school, hope i won't panic with all this work,....well ,i hope a lot of things, but nothing bad can come out of this.
But this is in august, the course choices are tomorow, not the actual courses themselves ( read: WHEW!!).
I'm thinking of taking morning classes so i can have the rest of the day to myself. sure itll take some time getting used to compared to getting up at noon all the time, but i feel itll help get my life back on the normal clock....i also have to take a standard second language english test....thatll be a breeze, its the french one that worries me (yeah, i know, its my main language and i still screw it up worse than english ^^) but i'll do allright i'm sure of this...
Whew, thats alot of my mind on here....if you guys bothered to read trough this, i applaud your dedication. But now, i have to sleep.
Good times are ahead.....good times....

Kekeke...just kidding...or am i? ^^
welp, heres my review of the movie
*spoilage alert* Looking below this line will spoil the movie for you, do NOT look below this line if you dont want yourself spoiled *spoilage alert*
I liked the movie...didint love it tho.
Between the cool fight scenes there was too much talking and that 30 minute rave/sex scene was mildly, how should i say, gratuitous.
Information wise, they just dropped it on you like you Crag's mom dropped him on his head when he was a baby : Fast and furiously in such a way you barely follow. I'm guessing a second visit to the movies could fix that
but its not on my list.
All in all, it was a decent sequel, but it could have been SO much more than that.
I'll go see the 3rd movie, only because i want to know the Wachowski brothers can redeem themselves and do a l33t ending to it all.
but, none the least, go see it, its still enjoyable ^^
